  10. This installer requires the ORIGINAL disks from Mortal Kombat (there are 2).
  11. The HD-Patched game will need about 2Mb of FAST memory and 1 or 2Mb more
  12. for the game itself, which makes 3Mb a minimum, but (almost) any HD owner
  13. has got 3Mb.
  14. It should work on ALL Kickstarts and ALL CPUs.
  15. Report me any bugs you'll find.

  17. Note: I created and tested this package with a A1200/060/50 16Mb, so there should
  18. be no problem for all 680x0 CPUs.

  20. When the disks are copied during installation, the pointer freezes. That's
  21. normal cause the game uses a custom trackload routine (copy-protection), and
  22. it does not easily multitask. No checks are done to see if you swapped the disks
  23. or not.

  25. HISTORY:

  27. V1.0: This version did not take advantage of the allowed cpu caches
  28. properly and did not disable specific '060 caches. Besides, it sometimes exited
  29. with no reason, without doing anything, or loaded and locked up.
  30. There were graphics corruption for one of the players.

  32. V1.1: Bugs were corrected except for the gfx corruption
  33.  
  34. V1.2: The gfx bug was finally removed. Works perfectly :-)
  35. I added a small guide for special moves and fatalities.
  36. I think that's the last release.
